Preparation for the 2017 World Forum program is in full swing. Heather Fox, Communications Director for Dimensions Foundation and World Forum Program Planning Team Member shares with us a behind the scenes look at what goes into preparing the program for the event.
Images of Rights: Children’s Perspectives focuses on advocacy for children’s rights and awareness of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN-CRC) by collecting children’s spontaneous artistic expressions of how they experience their rights to provision, protection and participation.
When I recently traveled to New Zealand to see the site for World Forum 2017, Selena Fox and I had several meetings to prepare for our time together next May. We are in the Café today to share a brief reflection on the visit.
Auckland is getting ready to welcome the World Forum Community in May 2017. World Forum National Representatives are the link between countries around the world and the World Forum Community. Before we gather in Auckland, May 2017, we intend to cover the globe, with a National Representative in every country. We will be asking for your help to find a great NR in countries yet unrepresented.
Global Leader Program Director Mark Elliott stopped by the Café to share plans for the launch of the next cohort of Global Leaders later in 2016. With a recent grant for $100,000 from the Open Society Foundation, many exciting things will be happening for the World Forum Foundation Global Leaders.
